Benefits medical, holiday, paid time-off, etc. are being offered with this position.ppEssential functions includepp Implementation and validation of computerized control systems for manufacturing equipment in a quick paced production environment, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotic, and vision inspection systems, for new equipment, retrofits, or modifications, both for machine and process controls.pp Preparation of protocols, data collection, data analysis and presentation, completion reports, fact book compilation, and document change package preparation.pp Independently perform process and project activities with general instruction.pp Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering supporting the manufacturing area.pp Prepares reports and presentations to management on recommendations.pp Designs manufacturing equipment electrical and control systems, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotic, and vision inspection systems for machine and process controls.pp Evaluates progress, results, and recommends changes in procedures and systems, as business and equipmentelectrical needs change.pp Design, develop, and deploy automated calibration solutions and measurement equipmentpp Provide guidance, as a measurement expert, to product development teams on metrology and calibration deliverablespp Perform research as required to develop or enhance calibration solutions and perform specification and uncertainty analysis required to develop or refine measurement methodsppAdditional responsibilities will includeppPerform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisorfacilitator. Follow current compliance regulations and standards. Support Plant Diversity Process and ensure safe work conditions and practices in the department. Execute product design and change control in accordance with procedures. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO 9000 qualifications and complete related documentation as required. Working understanding of SPC, FDA, Safety, OSHA, and environmental qualifications and complete related documentation as required. Assist in preparation of annual Business Plan, including identification of new projects to drive growth and cost control for both enterprise and operating company success. Originate Capital Appropriation Requests CAR for new capital required for project work. Fulfill all business plan and CAR obligations for assigned areas of responsibility.
